Private Counseling

Counseling Services are available through Catholic Charities. Jill Hodges, parish counselor, offers individual, family, and marital counseling on a sliding fee scale to parishioners, and, others in the community Monday and Thursday afternoons from 3:00PM-6:00PM in the Knights of Columbus building. Those who are interested in counseling can contact Jill at 427-5937 or 352-3087 ext.543, Monday through Thursday.

Background

Jill has been working as the St. Rose School and Parish Counselor since 2001. She is originally from Winston-Salem, NC. She has a B.S. in Sociology from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, and, a Masters of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee. Jill is a Licensed Master Social Worker.

In the past, Ms Hodges has been employed as the Volunteer Coordinator/Social Worker/Bereavement Counselor for Hospice in N.C., as a counselor to patients and families at Gambro Dialysis Clinic, as a group therapist for Senior Life Outlooks, and as an out-patient adult psychiatric program counselor.
