SOCIAL ACTION

The Social Action Committee serves to create and support programs to meet the human needs of the parish.  This committee educates parishioners to peace and justice issues and to the social teachings of the church.  This committee strives to encourage people to take action on the issues that affect their own lives.  We frequently join with other churches, organizations, and programs to promote and strengthen our action for peace, justice, and charitable works.  This committee works together with groups that are advocating for people who are hurting or for change in public policy that positively affects the lives of people.

Clothes Closet

Our Clothes Closet is open for the needy to select clothing on Thursdays at 9:00am.  Donations of clean clothing are taken any time by dropping them in the Clothes Closet Drop Off next to the Gym. 

Food Distribution Services

We are called to take care of the least in God’s family.  We ask you to donate non-perishable foods at least once a month.  Our wooden collection box is near the drinking fountain in the Gathering Space.
