Homework Guidelines

Fourth grade teachers follow the "0" rule policy of the school meaning that for 4th graders there should be approximately 40 minutes of homework per night. This does not include any work that might have to be done on projects. Students are given time during the school day to start their homework so that questions can be answered.

Academics

Subjects covered in 4th grade are: Religion, Math, Spelling/Vocabulary, English, Reading, Social Studies and Science. Students have support teachers for the following subjects: Computer, Library, Spanish, PE, Art, and Music.

Work is done in textbooks, workbooks, worksheets and through other projects.

Keeping a neat notebook is an important and helpful way to learn!!  Notebooks will be checked occasionally and a grade taken for following directions and having things organized according to directions in their notebooks.
