“To be or not to be”

Is that really the question? Brothers and sisters, this week the Gospel opens a very important question for those who believe in Jesus Christ. “What must I do to inherit eternal life?" Well just as Shakespeare asks this question to follow it will be noble to suffer. Now we ask ourselves, when we said we would follow Christ, is it noble to do the will of the father? To go out of us and do his will?

Even to suffer in our pride, for doing the will of the father over our own? Well, that is the question. Questions that will make us uncomfortable, not because we don’t believe, but rather because believing in him will get us out of what we want.

That is many times the challenge we must face. The good thing is that we will not be alone, because in trusting in the will of the Father He will send his Holy Spirit to aid us to fully follow him.

May the peace and love of the Father be for all of you.

¿Es esa realmente la pregunta? Hermanos y hermanas, esta semana el Evangelio abre una pregunta muy importante, ¿quién cree en Jesucristo? “¿Qué debo hacer para heredar la vida eterna?” Bueno, así como Shakespeare hace esta pregunta, seguir será noble sufrir. Ahora nos preguntamos, cuando dijimos que seguiríamos a Cristo, ¿Es noble hacer la voluntad del padre? ¿Salir de nosotros y hacer su voluntad?

¿Incluso sufrir en nuestro orgullo, por hacer la voluntad del padre sobre la nuestra? Bueno, esa es la pregunta que nos hará sentir incómodos, no porque no creamos. , sino porque creer en él nos sacará de lo que queremos.

Ése es muchas veces el desafío que debemos afrontar. Lo bueno es que no estaremos solos, porque confiando en la voluntad del Padre Él enviará su Espíritu Santo para ayudarnos a seguirlo plenamente.

Que la paz y el amor del Padre sean para todos ustedes.
