Dear Fellow Disciples, peace.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus gives us a beautiful promise: if we love Him and keep His word, God will come and dwell with us. Imagine that—God making His home in our hearts. This is not a distant God, but one who desires to live close to us, to guide us with His peace.

Jesus also promises the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, who teaches us and reminds us of all He has said. This is especially comforting when life gets confusing or heavy. The Spirit brings clarity, courage, and the peace that the world cannot give.

In the first reading from Acts, we see the early Church facing disagreement, but through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, unity and peace are restored. This same Spirit is alive and active in the Church today and in each of us.

So today, let us open our hearts to the Spirit. Let us ask for the grace to truly love Jesus by living His word, and to be instruments of His peace in a divided world.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid."

He is with us.

El don de la paz de Cristo: Una promesa para todos los corazones

Queridos Discípulos, paz.

En el Evangelio de hoy, Jesús nos da una hermosa promesa: si lo amamos y cumplimos su palabra, Dios vendrá a morar con nosotros. Imaginen eso: Dios haciendo su hogar en nuestros corazones. No es un Dios distante, sino uno que desea vivir cerca de nosotros, para guiarnos con su paz.

Jesús también promete el Espíritu Santo, el Abogado, quien nos enseña y nos recuerda todo lo que ha dicho. Esto es especialmente reconfortante cuando la vida se vuelve confusa o pesada. El Espíritu trae claridad, valentía y la paz que el mundo no puede dar.

En la primera lectura de los Hechos de los Apóstoles, vemos a la Iglesia primitiva enfrentarse al desacuerdo, pero gracias a la guía del Espíritu Santo, se restablecieron la unidad y la paz.

Este mismo Espíritu está vivo y activo en la Iglesia hoy y en cada uno de nosotros. Así que hoy, abramos nuestros corazones al Espíritu. Pidamos la gracia de amar verdaderamente a Jesús viviendo su palabra y de ser instrumentos de su paz en un mundo dividido.

"No pierdan la paz ni se acobarden."

Él está con nosotros.

Que el Espíritu Santo nos enseñe a confiar.
