The Most Holy Trinity

Dear Fellow Disciples, peace.

Today we celebrate the great mystery at the heart of our faith: the Most Holy Trinity—one God in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is not just a theological concept, but a living reality that shapes how we know God and how we are called to live.

In the Gospel, Jesus speaks of the Holy Spirit who will guide us into all truth. He re minds us that all the Spirit reveals comes from the Father and the Son. This dynamic relationship among the Three Divine Persons of the Trinity is one of perfect unity, love, and self-giving.

What does this mean for us? First, it means that God is not isolation, but commun ion. And because we are made in His image, we are called to live not in isolation, but in loving relationships—with God and with one another. Second, the Trinity teaches us humility. Just as the Son glorifies the Father, and the Spirit glorifies the Son, we are called to live not for our own glory, but to serve and lift up others.

Let us ask the Holy Trinity today to make us instruments of unity, peace, and love in our families, in our parish and in the wider community. May our homes, our parish and our community reflect the life of the Trinity—full of grace, truth, and communion. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

La Santisima Trinidad

Queridos Discípulos, paz.

Hoy celebramos el gran misterio que reside en el corazón de nuestra fe: la Santísima Trinidad, un solo Dios en tres Personas: Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. Esto no es solo un concepto teológico, sino una realidad viva que moldea cómo conocemos a Dios y como estamos llamados a vivir.

En el Evangelio, Jesús habla del Espíritu Santo, quien nos guiará a toda la verdad. Nos recuerda que todo lo que el Espíritu revela proviene del Padre y del Hijo. Esta relacion dinamica entre las Tres Divinas Personas de la Trinidad es de perfecta unidad, amor y entrega.

¿Qué significa esto para nosotros? Primero, significa que Dios no es aislamiento, sino comunion. Y como estamos hechos a su imagen, estamos llamados a vivir no aislados, sino en relaciones de amor, con Dios y entre nosotros. En segundo lugar, la Trinidad nos ensena humildad. Así como el Hijo glorifica al Padre y el Espíritu glorifica al Hijo, estamos llamados a vivir no para nuestra propia gloria, sino para servir y enaltecer a los demás.

Pidamos hoy a la Santísima Trinidad que nos haga instrumentos de unidad, paz y amor en nuestras familias, en nuestra parroquia y en la comunidad en general. Que nuestros hogares, nuestra parroquia y nuestra comunidad reflejen la vida de la Trinidad: llena de gracia, verdad y comunion. En el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo. Amén.
