Increase our faith!

Dear Fellow Disciples, peace.

In today's Gospel the disciples ask Jesus, "Increase our faith!" Jesus respofaqeeeends that even faith the size of a mustard seed can work wonders. He then reminds them that discipleship is not about recognition or reward but about humble service: "We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty."

As disciples on mission, we are called to live by trust in God's power, not our own. Faith, even when small, can bear fruit if we place it in Christ. Mission is never about us, but about letting God work through us in daily acts of service, forgiveness, and witness.

Like the mustard seed, our faith grows as we live it. In humility and trust, may we continue Christ's mission in the world, doing our duty with joy, knowing that the Kingdom belongs to God.

May the Holy Spirit mature and deepens our faith as we follow Jesus and minister His presence to others.

¡Auméntanos la fe!

Queridos Discipulos, paz.

En el Evangelio de hoy, los discípulos le piden a Jesús: "¡Auméntanos la fe!" Jesús responde que incluso una fe del tamaño de un grano de mostaza puede obrar milagros. Luego les recuerda que el discipulado no se trata de reconocimiento ni recompensa, sino de servicio humilde: "Somos siervos indignos; solo hemos cumplido con nuestro deber."

Como discípulos en misión, estamos llamados a vivir confiando en el poder de Dios, no en el nuestro. La fe, incluso pequeña, puede dar fruto si la depositamos en Cristo. La misión nunca se trata de nosotros, sino de dejar que Dios obre a través de nosotros en actos diarios de servicio, perdon y testimonio.

Como la semilla de mostaza, nuestra fe crece al vivirla. Con humildad y confianza, continuemos la misión de Cristo en el mundo, cumpliendo nuestro deber con alegría, sabiendo que el Reino pertenece a Dios.

Que el Espíritu Santo madure y profundice nuestra fe mientras seguimos a Jesús y ministramos Su presencia a los demás.
