New Routines

With the renovations coming to a close in the church, we are getting used to some new routines and locations. The confessionals, for example, are in the back of the church, and the line forms along the back wall. The bulletin board and table that had been in the vestibule are now in the Shepherd's Hallway, where additional information can be found, as well as the lost and found, the "drop box'' for parishioners -- pretty much everything that was on that table and board before. The vestibule itself is now primarily for those who need to step out of Mass for some reason, particularly for parents dealing with a fussy child -- and for overflow crowds, which occur not infrequently. As long as there is room in the church, I ask that you come and find a seat in the church itself. Then the vestibule is available for those who need it. We will get used to the new situation soon enough!

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the blessing of our renovations by Bishop Spalding on Saturday, February 8 at the 5 p.m. Mass!

Nuevas Rutinas

Con las renovaciones llegando a su fin en la iglesia, nos estamos acostumbrando a algunas nuevas rutinas y ubicaciones. Los confesionarios, por ejemplo, están en la parte de atrás de la iglesia, y la línea se forma a lo largo de la pared del fondo. El tablón de anuncios y la mesa que había estado en el vestíbulo ahora se encuentran en el Pasillo del Pastor, donde se puede encontrar información adicional, así como los objetos perdidos y encontrados, el "buzón" para los feligreses, y casi todo lo que había en ello antes. El vestíbulo en sí es ahora principalmente para aquellos que necesitan salir de la misa por alguna razón, particularmente para los padres que tratan con un niño quisquilloso, y para las multitudes desbordadas, que ocurren con poca frecuencia. Siempre que haya espacio en la iglesia, lea pido que vengan y encuentren un asiento en la iglesia misma. Entonces el vestíbulo está disponible para aquellos que lo necesiten. ¡Nos acostumbraremos a la nueva situación pronto!
