Welcome to Saint Rose of Lima

Dear friends in Christ,

Welcome to the parish website for Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Saint Rose is a vibrant Catholic parish with over 2,000 registered families and a great preschool and school, thus serving the spiritual growth of people of all ages. Our purpose is to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and to proclaim his love to the world.

We hope that this website serves as a valuable resource for you to inform you of the many wonderful aspects of our life of faith here at Saint Rose. Please take some time to explore the many great things that we do at this church and ask the Lord to guide you in how you can be more involved in serving him by serving one another. We pray that the Lord bless you and those that you love and that He grant you peace in this life and eternal happiness in the life to come.

Pastor's Letter

06-16-2019Fr. John Sims Baker

Next month, thanks to the generosity and thoughtfulness of parishioners of St. Rose, my sister (Sr. Margaret Andrew, O.P.) and I will be going on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. First, I must say thank you. This pilgrimage to the Holy Land is truly a dream come true. With my sister's inspiration, I would like to offer everyone in the parish an opportunity to share in the spiritual blessings of the pilgrimage. We would like to take your prayer intentions with us and literally place them at the holy sites we will be visiting: the sites of Our Lord's annunciation, birth, public ministry, suffering, death, and resurrection. Everywhere we go, we will take your prayer intentions.
