Pathway to Progress: Be a Part of Developing the Plan

Volunteer Opportunities (Help Needed!!) –Wayne Overman is leading an effort to get the ball rolling, but he is asking the “parish at-large” for some specialized assistance as listed below. If you have this expertise or know of someone in our parish that does and is willing to donate time to help this effort, please drop Wayne a note at wjoverman@dtkjllc.com or call/text 615-414-5731. We are not asking for a huge commitment of time, just a few hours here and there. We are hoping to build a database of skills in our parish that can assist us in moving the program forward. As the program progresses, we will be reaching out for other skills that will be needed, so stay tuned!

Since we are still in the planning stages of this program, we need help preparing sketches, cost estimates, delivery schedules, permits, communications plans, etc. Later we will be contracting for actual design and construction activities.

Skills Needed at this time:

• Project Controls – Scheduling, Accounting, Construction Cost Estimating
• Civil Engineering – Proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation, Parking Layouts, Athletic Field Layout, Utilities Layout, Roadway Layout, and Signage
• MEP Structural – Mechanical/HVAC Design, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, and Building Structural Engineering
• Architectural – Proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp/Revit/Bluebeam, Residential, Commercial and/or Educational Architecture, Floor Plans, Building Façade, Murfreesboro Building Code
• Landscape Architecture – Landscape Design
• Permitting – TDEC and Corps Experience, City of Murfreesboro Zoning Familiarity
