He will multiply your talents

Dear Fellow Disciples, peace.

The parable of the talents serves as a key to interpreting the whole existence of the disciple of God's Kingdom. God gives gifts and talents according to the capacity of each person. Some receive more, some less. However, everyone has the responsibility to multiply their gifts and talents. Every moment in life is an opportunity and a possibility to practice charity. In fact, charity is the only way to allow these gifts and talents God has sown in the heart of the disciple to grow.

While some jump with all heart and strength to accomplish the task of multiplying their gifts and talents, others cross their arms and do nothing, letting these gifts and talents wizen and die. This is the attitude of those who refuse to practice charity even if they are able to do it.

When the accounting time arrives, some good and faithful servant-disciples will receive the reward and congratulations. They will enter in the joy of their Lord, and others, the bad and lazy, will receive the eternal punishment well deserved.

May the Holy Spirit inspire us to use well and multiply our gifts and talents, to serve others.

Él Multiplicará tus Talentos

Queridos discípulos, paz.

La parábola de los talentos sirve como clave para interpretar toda la existencia del discípulo del Reino de Dios. Dios da dones y talentos según la capacidad de cada persona. Algunos reciben más, otros menos. Sin embargo, cada uno tiene la responsabilidad de multiplicar sus dones y talentos. Cada momento de la vida es una oportunidad y una posibilidad de practicar la caridad. De hecho, la caridad es el único modo de hacer crecer estos dones y talentos que Dios ha sembrado en el corazón del discípulo.

Mientras algunos saltan con todo corazón y fuerzas para cumplir la tarea de multiplicar sus dones y talentos, otros se cruzan de brazos y no hacen nada, dejando que esos dones y talentos se marchiten y mueran. Ésta es la actitud de quienes se niegan a practicar la caridad aunque puedan hacerlo.

Cuando llegue el momento de rendir cuentas, algunos buenos y fieles servidoresdiscípulos recibirán la recompensa y las felicitaciones. Entrarán en el gozo de su Señor, y otros, los malos y perezosos, recibirán el castigo eterno bien merecido.

Que el Espíritu Santo nos inspire a utilizar bien y multiplicar nuestros dones y talentos, para servir a los demás.
